Creative Thinker

My first job out of university was as a blackjack dealer at Crown Casino.

Since then, my working life has been a wonderful mix of roles and fields; government, banking, retail, photography, customer service, records management, technology and project management.

My unique mix of experience means that I often make connections which lead to unexpected revelations. I love discovering the ways in which ideas, systems, circumstances and people connect.

Lifelong Learner

I love to research, study, read, listen, reflect and explore ideas.

One day I'm exploring data, analytics and project management. The next its astrology, tarot or reiki. Both the logical and the intangible interest me.

Similarly, technology and history capture my attention. I'm equally happy researching the impact of AI or the life of a female convict.

Family Archivist

I'm the keeper of my family's history. My great grandfather's postcards from World War I reveal a lot about his values and strong family connections.

Letters written to my grandmother during World War II tell a story about the lives of Australian women, when the world was focusing on men.

I've been researching my family tree for over 10 years. In 2024, I completed the Diploma of Family History at UTAS and completed Oral History for Beginners with Oral History Victoria
