A couple of years ago, I realised it was time to put my wellbeing first.
With my kids grown and independent, I was ready to start focusing on me. But like many women, I felt stuck. This photo was taken in July 2024. I was struggling with excess weight, poor sleep, aches and pains, high blood pressure, and a short fuse with just about everything. Can you relate?
In August 2024, I made some big changes.
I began GLP1 medication, worked closely with a dietitian and committed to regular strength training. Because I was studying at the time, I had the flexibility to prioritise myself, and it made all the difference.
The result? I lost over 20 kgs in six months. More importantly, I feel healthier and stronger than I have in years. Running my own business now allows me to keep that balance, making sure my wellbeing always stays a priority.
If you're looking for a dietician, I highly recommend, Melissa Barnes.
And if you're looking to get started with strength training my experience at PB Performance + Health in Bendigo has been fantastic! Both are located in Bendigo.

My first job out of university was as a blackjack dealer at Crown Casino. Since then, my working life has been a wonderful mix of roles and fields; government, banking, retail, customer service, records management, technology and project management.
My creative side has never really been a part of my work. There's no time like now!
In 2025, I trained with Imogen Lamport at the Academy of Professional Image, to become certified in Advanced Personal Colour Analysis
My unique mix of experience means that I often make connections which lead to unexpected revelations. I love discovering the ways in which ideas, style, colour and people connect.

I acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which I live and work, the Dja Dja Wurrung people, and the many other First Nations communities whose Country I may visit or speak about through my work.
I pay my deep respects to Elders past and present, and I honour the continuing stories, knowledge systems, and creative practices that have shaped these lands for tens of thousands of years.
