The big 'What if' questions

What if I feel uncomfortable talking about my body?

You're not alone in feeling this way and your comfort is really important to me. You deserve to feel good and I’m here to help whenever you’re ready.

My role in a colour consultation is never to judge you, your body or your wardrobe. My job is to make the experience feel supportive and confidence-boosting, not exposing.

In a colour analysis the focus is on learning how different colours interact with your natural features like your skin tone, eyes, and hair. Session are tailored to you and we only move at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

If you’d like to know exactly what happens in a session, I’m happy to talk you through it first. No obligation at all.

If you decide to book, there's a question in the booking form where you can let me know about anything you don't feel comfortable discussing. You never have to explain or justify your boundaries to me.

Your privacy matters. Everything we discuss stays between us and your details are never shared.

What if I'm not stylish / just wear trackies and tees? (aka - will you judge me?)

A colour analysis isn’t about judging anyone. You deserve to feel good in your clothes and I’m here to help whenever you’re ready.

My role in a colour consultation is never to judge you, your body or your wardrobe. I'm here to support you.

There’s no pressure to turn up a certain way, and there’s definitely no expectation that you ‘know’ anything before you arrive. You don’t need makeup, you don’t need a perfect wardrobe, and you don’t need to feel prepared.

Together, we discover what colours and style works for you and how to make getting dressed feel easier, in a way that makes you feel comfortable and confident.

Most clients walk out saying they feel lighter, excited, and genuinely surprised at how relaxed the whole thing felt.

If you’d like, we can chat first, so you know exactly what to expect. No obligation at all.

What if I'm restricted to just a few colours?

I'm here to expand your options, not limit them.

The goal of colour analysis is not to put you in a box.

Yes, you'll receive a colour swatch of 50 colours. These are great starting point for the thousands of colours that harmonise with your natural tones.

But more importantly, I'll give you the tools to dress with confidence and joy through the power of colour and style.

What if you tell me I can't wear black?

I'll never say you can't wear a certain colour.

The goal of a colour analysis is not to take away what you love.

It's to show you how create outfits you love and make you feel amazing!

We'll discover the neutrals that harmonise best with your natural tones.

And if black makes you feel confident and comfortable, we'll talk about ways to make black work for you.

What if I'm going through menopause or weight change?

This is the perfect time for a colour analysis!

I know, because that's when I did it.

Life transitions are exactly when we need to reconnect with what makes us feel confident.

A colour analysis is a celebration of you, not a critique.

I'd love to be a part of your team as you manage this life transition.

What if I don't like the colours?

I use a modern non-seasonal colour system, the Absolute Colour System (ACS).

ACS has 18 distinctive palettes, each with 50 colour and neutral options.

There's a lot of options to mix and match. Your palette is just a guide to the thousands of colours that harmonise with your natural tones. You're not restricted to the colours in the palette.

If there's colours you're not fond of, then there's probably colours you've never considered and will love.

I acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which I live and work, the Dja Dja Wurrung people, and the many other First Nations communities whose Country I may visit or speak about through my work.

I pay my deep respects to Elders past and present, and I honour the continuing stories, knowledge systems, and creative practices that have shaped these lands for tens of thousands of years.
